Walter Brown

"For more than two decades Walter has been a consigliere to vendor organizations in the world of Information Technology (I/T), including Software Product vendors, Staffing and Custom Solution vendors, Outsourcing vendors, Consulting vendors, and more.  His work has primarily focused on improving his clients' Revenue Generating Engines (marketing and sales).  Over the years Walter has analyzed in detail, and written prescriptions for, hundreds of vendors in the I/T space.  Walter's clients range in size from small to large and are located throughout the world.

He is also the author of Chasing Quota, a sales management handbook which has been read and studied by thousands of I/T sales executives and managers; it has also been used as text material for MBA level sales management courses at Dartmouth and MIT.  Recently Walter completed a companion to Chasing Quota, titled Chasing Quota 2, intended as companion material for field sales personnel.

A graduate of Princeton University, Walter has spent his entire career in the Information Technology world.  Beginning as an IBM Systems Engineer, he later co-founded a software marketing firm at the dawn of the software products revolution, and was subsequently a principal in several related ventures.  Having been raised in the Philadelphia area, where the early portion of his career was built, Walter established residence in Pensacola Florida in the eighties, where he has resided ever since."
